Pretty Floral Design
Bride's basket of unknown origin. This basket has a very elegant floral design. It has a canoe shape to the "basket" with upward turned points at each end. The Handle and basket are a one-piece design. It is made of very clear, heavy crystal. This one looks like a newer model replica of older cut glass. It's "cuts" are smooth like pressed glass, but there are no seams from a mold. I believe the flowers are etched rather than engraved. This is one of those pieces that pictures don't do justice to. I't very colorful in the bright light of a window.
This basket measures 7" tall 5-1/2" wide and 7-3/4" long and is 1/4" thick.
I found 3 very tiny bubbles in the glass, all in the "cuts" so they don't really show, one small area on one side with very little scrathes (hard to see) and a few hairline scratches on the bottom from being moved around on the furniture. Otherwise - Great!
